Mini Khan Experience destination 2: day 1

(This post was written by t-hype and posted by Beth.)

Day One point Two

day ONE
After his rose petal bath, the Badshah and I talked about what we should do this week. I didn’t want to be rude or anything, but I kinda wished he would get dressed. I mean, I feel like I’m cheating on Hrithik already…

I promised Mini Khan at least one new article of clothing if he’d put his old ones back on and he agreed. We were able to end the evening on a good note.

point TWO
Since the expected temperature for today is 104°F (!) Mini Khan and I agreed that the jacket had to go. Furthermore, in observance of true Southern style, he decided to go barefoot which I thought was cute. He tried to veto me on styling his Pretty Woman pants into manpri/pirate pants but why hide such nice calves?

Am I taking too long M.K.?

Anyhoo, off to work we went. Nothing too exciting going on in my cubi-cell. Despite my protests, M.K. tried to liven up the workday with a little Village People action.

How embarrassing.
I mean, why is that always the first thing people think of when you say, “I work for the Y”?

After being so bored his eyebrows turned to tildes, Mini Khan jumped onto the windowsill to check out the view. With a tug, the blinds flew up only to reveal mostly nothing.

“Yes, the Southern Baptists own two blocks of downtown Nashville.” I pointed out, indicating the building marked with a cross. “I heard they pay well. Um, yeah. That little red and white sign to your right, that’s the Y. But see, further to the right, we’re building new offic—No, not as big as theirs…that’s not my point.

“If you look to the right, way out into the trees, you can see Meharry Medical College and Fisk University . We’ll go there before you leave.”

M.K. seemed to warm to that idea when I assured him that no one on either of those campuses would recognize him.
To be continued…
