Mini Khan Experience destination 2: a Nash Vegas moment
(This post was written by t-hype and posted by Beth.)
After nursing Mini Khan’s wounds from the unfortunate scuffle at the university, I thought we’d have some fun. I took him to a little coffee shop called Fido. It’s one of the few places in town that stays open past 9 p.m. where you can still hear yourself talk, but I digress…
Despite the fact that I specifically took the rear entrance to preserve his anonymity, M.K. wanted to perch on the highest manageable point for a photo. The result:
The short time we spent at the coffee house was nearly uneventful until a couple of passers-by noticed the small athletic form reclining at my table. Referring to M.K. as “the man of your dreams” they inquired about his presence. After introducing himself, M.K. explained to them that he was on a world tour, one which originated in Germany.
“Really?!” exclaimed passerby #1. “I’m from Germany! My friend is from South Africa.”
As M.K. basked in their interest, I explained to them how absolutely superstar-famous he was back home in India.
“I think I might have seen him on TV,” the German girl concluded. “Can we take a picture with him?” she asked in a flash.
“Of course!” I responded, all to eager to capture this momentous international moment in all its glory. And here they are:
M.K. didn’t seem to mind being palmed in such fashion. In fact, it made him all the more eager to pose for a photo showing off his guns. Boys will be boys! *sigh*
